About
I spent more than 13 years in operations and growth across retail, industrial distribution and hospitality. I took a distribution branch in York from about $650K to over $1M in annual sales in my first year, the first time it ever crossed $1M. I opened two restaurant and bar locations that beat their first-year sales forecasts.
GroveStone Digital is where that work turned into software. I build Ark for churches, and I fix websites and set up small automations for local businesses. Same habits as always: start with the numbers, keep it simple, and make sure it works for the person using it. I'm based in Harrisburg, PA.

Ebenezer, Georgia. Where my family's story begins.

Story
My family were Georgia Salzburgers. My Pop, Harman, worshipped at Jerusalem Lutheran Church in Ebenezer, one of the oldest standing church buildings in Georgia. My Grandma, Alice, started Maranatha Church in her own house more than sixty years ago. They both rest at Ebenezer today. Building for churches runs in the family.

Black-and-white photographs made for the Historic American Buildings Survey: the church from the rear, and the interior with its pews, gallery and pulpit.

The Salzburger town of Ebenezer: an early town plan, a 1742 mill plan, Pastor Boltzius in an engraving and in bronze, the roadside markers, the Treutlen monument and an old hand pump.

Changes: every image here was resized and saved as WebP and JPEG for the web, and some are shown cropped on this page. Nothing else was edited.
